Surgical Mission Trips
By using our gifts to serve others, we act as good stewards of God’s grace. If you are a medical professional, consider joining us on a surgical medical trip, where your unique talents will transform lives. In partnership with local hospitals and the Nicaraguan Ministry of Health (MINSA), dedicated medical professionals volunteer their time to provide surgical services to Nicaraguans in need.
We host several surgical mission trips throughout the year and are always in need of general surgeons, urologists, gynecologists, ophthalmologists, anesthesiologists, orthopedic surgeons, nurses, technicians, translators, and other medical personnel.

Once you’ve decided on a trip and purchased your plane ticket, you will need to complete your online registration and make your Mission Trip Contribution at least two months prior to your departure in order to be allowed to work in Nicaraguan hospitals.

We want your stay in Chinandega to be as comfortable as possible while allowing you to experience what life in Nicaragua is like.
At the Amigos Complex, morning and evening meals are prepared by Patricia and her team and enjoyed together in the comedor. We come together in the Rancho for evening devotionals, and early risers can soak in breathtaking sunrises over the volcanoes on the veranda.
