Committed to Nicaragua
Amigos for Christ is a nonprofit organization that facilitates leadership, water, health, education, and economic development in rural Nicaraguan communities. Our mission is to serve, so that Christ becomes more visible. Our vision is to be a model cross-cultural community development organization.
Working Juntos
We work shoulder-to-shoulder with our Nicaraguan neighbors to bring opportunity to rural communities in need. By working together, we spark transformational growth in people, families, and communities.
Our Philosophy
Our work is all about people. Juntos means working together, and that takes listening well, building infrastructure for change, and even picking up a shovel when the time comes.
What Keeps Us Going
Our faith compels us to take action. Through every project, we strive to make Christ visible to each person who comes in contact with our team.
You Can Join Us
There are plenty of opportunities to work juntos with us every year. You can support our work through donations or fundraising, volunteering your time and unique gifts at our U.S. office, or visiting us on a mission trip to Nicaragua.
Our Story
We have invested our lives in Nicaraguan lives since 1999. Read more about the story of Amigos for Christ.
