Jianney joined Academia Amigos for Christ at the beginning of this school year and quickly captured our hearts. From day one, we saw her strength and joy, despite living with tethered cord syndrome and kyphosis—conditions that have limited her physically but never dimmed her spirit.

Moving around campus was challenging at first, but with love and teamwork, our staff made sure she could comfortably navigate her day using her stroller. She adjusted quickly to the academic environment and, with the support of her dedicated teachers, caught up in her classes in no time.
Her mother, Doña Alicia, shared how difficult it’s been to find specialized care. For Jianney’s entire life, they’ve faced long waits, unanswered referrals, and no clear path forward. With God’s guidance and community support, we were able to help them access a long-awaited pediatric neurology consult—an emotional moment full of both hard news and deep hope.
Through it all, Jianney continues to shine. She loves to dance—her mom calls her “her little ballerina”—and brings joy wherever she goes. Her courage and smile remind us that God’s plans are perfect, even when the path is hard. It’s a blessing to walk alongside her on this journey.
