How We Serve
We serve communities, families, and individuals through three Paths to Transformation:
Community Development
Infrastructure and Habit Change
We walk with rural communities towards sustainable transformation by growing leadership, building infrastructure for water, sanitation and health, forming healthy habits, incentivizing education, and investing in economic opportunity.
Water for Chinandega will bring clean water to every rural home in Chinandega by 2035 through equipping community leadership, uniting the community, and building world-class infrastructure that will last.
Plan 7 is our community development model that partners with rural communities for 7 years with 5 specific goals to accomplish sustained transformation. Our goals are Leadership, Water and Sanitation, Health, Education and Economic Development.
Youth Development
Access to Education
We equip the next generation of leaders in Nicaragua with education, faith, leadership and purpose.
Amigos Academy provides world-class, faith-based primary school (and soon to be secondary school) education that forms confident, compassionate leaders prepared to transform their communities and the world.
Leaders in Action empowers high school and university students to become faith-filled servant leaders through education, leadership development and service opportunities.
The Amigos Baseball Academy is developing discipline, leadership, and teamwork to shape young athletes to strive for excellence at school, home and in their communities.
Small-Business Development
Increased Employment
We partner with small-business owners to turn dreams into thriving businesses that create jobs, increase income and strengthen families in rural Nicaragua.
Business for Transformation provides debt-free seed capital that creates employment, increases income, and connects the community.
AgroAmigos is a social enterprise that connects local farmers to the local market to increase their small business’ income and create more local employment.
Together, these paths lead to transformation.
