Our Work

Our mission is to serve to make Christ more visible.

Our vision is to light the path to life transformation in Nicaragua and beyond.

How We Serve

We serve communities, families, and individuals through three Paths to Transformation:

Community

Infrastructure and Habit Change

Community Development

We walk with rural communities towards sustainable transformation by growing leadership, building infrastructure for water, sanitation and health, forming healthy habits, incentivizing education, and investing in economic opportunity.

Our dream is for Chinandega, Nicaragua to become a bright spot in the world.

A bright spot is something that stands out in the midst of challenging circumstances. Chinandega is already a bright spot in many ways – full of resilience, family values, and untapped potential. We want to help it shine even brighter.

We believe true life transformation is rooted in the abundant life that Jesus promises in John 10:10 “I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.” The key to our approach is walking alongside families, students, and communities through a highly relational, holistic, and sustainable model that addresses the root causes of poverty, not just the symptoms. The ultimate hope is that each person feels purpose, belonging, and empowerment, and is inspired to continue the cycle of life transformation by lighting the path for others.
