Laura has blessed many areas of Amigos since joining the team in 2013 as an intern. From using her skills as a nurse to care for our team, to connecting our Amigos Family to the life transformation happening through our projects, Laura shines Jesus' light here in Chinandega.

New School Year 2022

Access to quality education in Nicaragua is often just a dream for many students. Through the Leaders in Action Program, students from Chinandega have the opportunity to study at the best high schools and universities in the country and reach for their dreams of quality education and a brighter future.

Throughout the year, Leaders in Action students participate in leadership and development activities as well as an annual retreat focused on personal and spiritual growth. This retreat is a highlight for many students because they can step outside of their day-to-day life and focus on growth and building relationships with fellow students. Our Leaders in Action team dreams of making this retreat something special and memorable for students and we would love your help!
