Jesus came to serve and called us to follow his example. Our faith compels us to serve God by serving his people, and we strive to make Christ visible to each person who comes in contact with our team. Our work is about people. We work juntos with our Nicaraguan neighbors to plant the seeds of opportunity in rural communities in need. By working together, we spark transformational growth in people, families, and communities.
Where We Serve
We are committed to Nicaragua. Our headquarters are in Chinandega, Nicaragua, where our team of nearly 200 members lives and does the work that leads to life transformation. Our work is tailored to meet the needs of the people of Nicaragua.
- 69 percent of Nicaraguan families lack access to clean water, leading to preventable diseases and considerable time and resources being devoted to the acquisition of water.
- 45% of students do not continue attending school after the 6th grade, leading to limited job options and limited opportunities to improve their families’ resources.
- Nicaragua is the second poorest country in the Western Hemisphere, leading many to leave the country in search of economic stability. This has resulted in a depleted workforce and fractured families.
