BECOME A PART OF OUR TEAM
Our Positions:
On the Partnerships Team, volunteers build meaningful relationships with group members and community members that lead to transformational connections. Volunteers help to facilitate all aspects of the the week-long mission trip experience, supporting the Partnerships Team in all that they do. Volunteers play a vital role in welcoming and connecting with mission trip participants, caring for their physical health, and ensuring that they have a meaningful, fun, and transformational experience while serving with Amigos.

Chinandega, Nicaragua
Position:
Unpaid / 6 weeks
Requirements:
Minimum Age: 18 Years Old
Sessions:
May 18, 2024 – June 29, 2024
July 6, 2023 – August 17, 2024
On the Amigos Academy Team, volunteers assist and support teachers and students in all aspects involved in a typical school day. Volunteers are expected to model the care and generosity teachers and educators have for each of their students, and our volunteers receive an immersive experience in a classroom with the ability to positively impact the lives of many. The Amigos Academy serves children from Pre-K to 6th grade in the areas of literacy, reading comprehension, mathematics, science, history, English as a foreign language, arts and sports.
Requirements:
Bilingual English/Spanish
Minimum Age: 18 Years Old
Location:
Chinandega, Nicaragua
Position:
Unpaid / 12 weeks, 480-hour position
On the Community Development Team, volunteers help to execute the strategies and tactics utilized to achieve progress in the 5 goals of our Community Development Plan, Plan 7. Volunteers are involved in all areas of the team, working alongside Community Advocates to build relationships and trust with community members in order to facilitate health, water, education, economic development, and leadership.

Position:
Unpaid / 12 weeks, 480-hour position
On the Marketing & Communications Team, volunteers utilize their photography, videography, graphic design, and story telling gifts to highlight bright spots and stories of success. Volunteers capture the progress of our project areas, always seeking to make Christ more visible by celebrating and sharing the success of the intercultural Amigos family through multiple media outlets.
